I made a team earlier this week and asked what it would take, the trade was butcher and a 1st for zucker. What would need to be added for kaprizov. from the minnesota fans who did not appear to be trolling, the price is significantly higher than this. they wanted a hughes or hischier +, 2 firsts wont cut it either. I would love to put those two together though

As for your Zucker trade the value is fine but if we trade him it should be for picks or prospects and not NHL players. We have five top 4 D as of now so even if we traded one of them we shouldn't be looking to acquire another like Butcher. We need to make room for Kaprizov next year so we can't acquire a forward in a Zucker trade either.</div></div>
whats astronomical though? is two first's? gusev was a 2nd and 3rd plus a pretty big contract. I gotta believe teams wouldnt do two firsts?

The Tatars Zuckers and Palimeris with term should fetch a 1st and b prospects or a top tier prospect and a 2nd or 3rd depending on prospect</div></div>
right but brannstrom was the equivalent of a 1st+, meaning he is worth more than vegas's first. i agree with your whole point, just clarifying fetching a first is not equal to stones brannstrom ++
these guys could get a first
stone got more than a first in brannstrom, + a 2nd rounder, plus a plug

Somebody and a first is the right price for Spurgeon. BUT, the Wild don't need defensemen, even with losing Spurgeon.
We need right shot centers or RWs who are under 25 years old who are NHL middle 6 guys or top prospects. The Devils don't have anyone who fits that bill. Even your prospects aren't lighting up the AHL. So, I don't see any trade between the Wild and NJ.</div></div>
yupp sounds about right.
Again, im more looking to move a 1st and butcher than get spurgeon specifically. Thanks for the feedback

and honestly idk who the correct partner is, the message im sending is I want to deal butcher and swap for a different dman, butcher + a first should be a competent defender. I chose Minnesota because they could use the first and a younger guy as they retool on the fly to bring the age down.

(Do you know how contracts work dummy? I was just trying to learn where someone could be traded to (as per terms of the contract, which I can't see specifics of teams that a player would accept) etc.
At least it wasn't another Bracco for Georgiev trade.
