<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KConnor81</b></div><div>...Open to suggestions.</div></div>
Unless Lindholm agrees to a team friendly extension, which he wouldnt (why would he), I would suggest not trading your future potential 2C (Lambert) for a rental 2C, cause WPG will just be in the same boat next year, but with even fewer options.

I'd rather WPG keep the younger, cheaper player that already knows the system.

All Canadian different choices
Atkinson would be an excellent upgrade on Appleton. WPG needs to address 2C tho and Schmidt has been playing well and is a big part of WPG's defensive corps right now, so I wouldn't want to break that up.
Interesting tho, cause now I want a Nino - Lowry - Atkinson 3rd line somehow.

January 23 Trade Deadline Players
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jumpanator</b></div><div>I think everyone but Merzlikins gets moved. He seems like an off-season trade given his cap hit and term.
Nashville is in a different situation with Tyson Barrie in that they're still trying to compete, but Barrie just isn't a part of their plan anymore. He's been decent considering the circumstances, and I think Nashville should be able to work out a "hockey trade" somewhere.
Everyone else gets move primarily for futures.</div></div>
I see you're a CGY fan. What are your real expectations in a Lindholm return? Primarily futures?

Jets Lineup With Existing Depth
Best case scenarios probably see Lambert at 2C with Perfetti on his left. WPG clearly wants to keep Fetts on the wing and have been developing Lambo at centre. They'd look good with Vilardi on the 2nd line.
And if Mcgroarty can make the team, he'd probably fit in well with Lows - Nino on the third.
Salomonsson likely and DiVincentiis definitely will need time with the Moose.

we need to set the market
Chaz was my go-to trade chip at one point, but he is having season-ending surgery for the fourth year in a row now. Kid is good when he's healthy, but he hasn't been able to sustain that health for a full season at any level.
WPG might be stuck with him, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But yeah, this likely tanks his trade value

Winnipeg Jets Playoff Push
All those players in your "inventory" are more valuable to WPG than any other team; you're likely not getting anything useful back for them. Better to have depth that already know the system and have chemistry with the team.
Rutger's loooking good in college, but i doubt WPG would consider playing him ahead of any current roster player this year, especially in the playoffs.

Chychrun
Not a fan of acquiring Chychrun and I definitely dont like that offer. Salomonsson is WPG's best RD prospect since forever and I don't see the need for Chychrun.
Chevy's had eyes on Chych before so I don't deny the rumors, but hopefully he's just doing his due diligence in case OTT was giving him away for cheap or willing to take all futures or something.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>oilfire</b></div><div>Based on what I see on here Winnipeg fans are putting forth the best offers of Chaz, a 1st, +</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>djmbrown</b></div><div>Ya I like Chaz a lot. He’s an appealing piece for the Flames to go after. Is Winnipeg not happy with their centres the way they are though? Seems like everything’s going pretty smoothly over there right now! It’s about time. I’ve thought they should have made some serious runs for the cup in the past.</div></div>
What would you guys like to see as that +? Hopefully just another pick would suffice, cause I don't see Chevy giving up a roster player. Maybe Stanley.

Offers for Lindholm
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>oilfire</b></div><div>Word from the pundits (Seravalli in particular) is that Winnipeg would like to push their 2C down.</div></div>
WPG doesn't exactly have a true 2C. Current 2C is Vladdy, who is more of a swiss army knife doing his best, which is has been decent. Perfetti and Vilardi are natural Cs but have mostly played wing in the NHL and it seems Bones intends on keeping it that way. Lowsy's a great 3C, but that's likely his ceiling. Then there's a bunch of depth guys that can play anywhere... But yeah, no true 2C to be found. The spot's right there, just waiting for Lindholm.

Habs fans are so weird. Normal trends involve fans trading FOR a particular player, but you guys seem fixated on trading Monahan TO the Jets. Its like the PLD wave all over again... but weirder.

Chevy had eyes on Kubalik once upon a time, but has since acquired the three Kings, Nino and Vladdy. Not sure there's a fit for him anymore; definitely not for a 3rd.

Price of Monahan by The Fourth Period
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HabsFan61</b></div><div>My guess is a 2nd plus a prospect or maybe a 1st that’s conditional. Many of our fans are very impatient with rebuilds, which is why the team has not done a proper one for some time.</div></div>
A conditional 1st makes a lot of sense for a player with Monahan's injury history, but I really don't like him as a fit for WPG.
Further tho, Barlow is among the latest of WPG's 1st round picks that are pretty much untouchable, along with Lambert and Mcgroarty. WPG is very calculated with their draft picks because they're a draft & develop reliant team. Trading promising prospects for rentals is just not something Chevy does.

Jets 2024-25
The time to trade for Sanheim was last season. He's locked in now with a full NTC and isnt going anywhere. Also with how well he's doing this season, PHI probably sees him as an important piece to propel them quickly thru their retool. Im sure he costs more now than WPG is willing to part with. All is moot tho, cause WPG doesn't need more LHD.

Ya, I like that trade for WPG.

More cap space at TDL. It would allow WPG to deal only futures for Lindholm and keep the core players intact (i.e. won't have to move Schmidt for cap space).
