Doubt Markstrom signs that cheaply in Edmonton you're looking at 5 x 6 for Jacob Markstrom, And it was already reported that Holland wouldn't carry both Koskinen and Markstrom if Markstrom were to sign with Edmonton then Koskinen gets moved pure and simple as that. I think it's either Vancouver or Calgary for Markstrom's service.

Detroit has a bottom-3 PP so they should be interested in Chiasson, but they probably don't want to jinx the tank job. Better to trade him to a team that thinks they can make the playoffs and needs PP help: CBJ, NAS, NYI or MTL, for instance.

I really don't see Holland spending $10M+ on goaltending, he's already said that in fact. I think he's just in on the Markstrom negotiations to drive up the final price for CGY / VAN.

Sorry, dude. Stevie Y is unlikely to make it to Edmonton. Read the St. Louis papers and/or listen to the info leaks. Doug Armstrong has hinted that he's interested in the Oilers job, and now that they hired his best friend and the only coach he seems to get along with, I'd be willing to bet he goes to Edmonton. It's all over our news. As far as I'm concerned (and a lot of other St. Louisans too), good riddance. The master of stupid contract extensions can work on extending Lucic for another three seasons.

Its been said that they were looking at Ericsson Ek at 16 not Barzal. Plus they were also looking at McDonogh for the Puljujarvi pick. That deal goes through they never make the Larson trade.
