Personally, I really don't like quantity over quality trades like this one. I would prefer the Flames to get one quality piece back for Sharangovich instead.
I can see your logic and I break it down as follows:
IMO, Dvorak is $2M overpaid, Vladar $1M. Taking on $1M x 1 is worth between a 3rd and a 4th.
I don't see Harris adding much value, simply because the Flames have a lot of bodies for the 3rd pairing.
It comes down to Sharangovich + 4th for 1st + Beck + 3rd. I haven't watched Beck play, so I have a hard time gauging his value, but it seems like he's worth more than a 2nd, so the value is about right.
So yeah, I'd like more, but I won't be too upset if this was the return.

And another cap dumper !! Lets me guess, 75 % of the league are cap dump. Can’t you read a statement?
Dvorak is money going the other way. There a thing call Salary cap and lets me explain this in a simple way. Calgary received a first round pick, a solid prospect in Beck, a young established defenseman and a third round pick with the Dvorak money goiing the other way like it’s always the case in majority of the trade. Also cap dump are made by team that need absolutely to shed some salary to get under the cap. In this case it’s not the case. Monahan was a cap dump because Calgary needed the space to sign Kadri. Same for Marleau with the leafs a couple
Year prior. But i am not surprise that this simple principal is to hard to understand for many people here.
Dvorak isn’t Gretzky but he is still a valuable
NHL caliber players. Yes he make to much money but by no mean he is a cap dump. Gm are not stupid, they understand that there a maximum of contract that can be and also that they need players to full fill certain role. Calgary just lost 3 centerman in one season, Dvorak could very well be a season replacement option. But you didn’t think about that one minute. It’s easier to complain about the cap dump than use your brain to analyze the trade.

6OA + Mallioux, might be in the ballpark. I think Reinbacher and Mallioux is asking too much, you can't strip out a teams prospect pool of an entire position like that, so if it were Reinbacher, it would be a forward or a pick paired with it.
However, if MTLs not willing to part with an impact piece, Anaheim isn't willing to part with Zegras.</div></div>
ROFL zegras ain't worth a top 10 pick, keep dreaming

Dach is an instant no go. Habs are fully committed to him. His injury's over the past 2 years sucked, but they aren't connected in any way, and this years was really just an unlucky freak accident.
And Dach's "ceiling" is pretty universally agreed upon by Habs fans that it's higher than Suzuki's, so everyone is perfectly fine waiting for him to get healthy. Not to mention he showed really good chemistry with Slafkovsky. So yeah, I think every Habs fan would rather roll the dice for Dach's ceiling than Zegras. It would seem Gorton and Hughes agree with this as well, because if they refused to include Dach in a PLD trade, I don't see how that would change for Zegras.

Marner
I don't think Marner has a very high value given his lack of post season success and his high expiring cap hit...but its not far off what you have there...more likely Toronto would go for a RHD like JBD than Chychruyn...obvi they would want Tkachuck but that won't happen...will it?
My guess is Marner will actually ask for a trade to a west team like Utah, Vegas or even LA...a place where he won't have to be the cover boy for an angry media rag like the Sun...a place where he will be protected and respected...and HOPEFULLY a place where he makes a post season impact...see Zach Hyman

Habs should at least consider trading Guhle
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>I don't see what would lead you to believe that.
Let's discount this season as far as shooting percentage goes because it's obvious from the fall-off in Caufield's that he hasn't made a complete recovery from his surgery yet. His historical shooting/scoring rate is 14.1%. Boldy's is 12.6%. Assuming each player takes 330 shots next season, that's five goals in Caufield's favor. Given the 50% disparity in assists in Boldy's favor and the fact that he plays with Kirill Kaprizov, I think that Caufield's goal surplus is likely to be swallowed up in the overall comparison. And it should also be noted that Boldy took almost 90 fewer shots this season than Caufield did.
Matt Boldy is one of the most underrated players in the NHL right now.</div></div>
I think your analysis falls apart with the assumption that Boldy will just start shooting an additional shot per game. Caufield has shown his willingness and capabilities to get open and shoot more often. With an improvement in shooting percentage, he's sure to surpass Boldy on goals for.

Habs should at least consider trading Guhle
If Guhle could get someone like Boldy, then sure I'd be ok trading him. I just don't see it happening. Boldy is (or at least should be) one of MINs untouchables. Conversely, I'd say Guhle should be as close to untouchable for the Habs too... MTL has a plethora of LD sure, but Guhle is far and away MTLs best two-way player they have at that position. He's for sure their best skater (even more than Matheson), has a physical edge (where Guhle even admitted is going to be his off season focus to bulk up without losing any of his speed...), and is their most defensively reliable LD.
Comparisons are never 1 to 1, but Habs essentially have a younger version of Jacob Slavin with Guhle. Contending teams keep those players around, they don't trade them.
It's become a controversial topic among Habs fans (and it's a pretty even split), but if Habs move a Dman, it really should be Matheson... for a lot of the same reasons given here for moving Guhle.
On top of that, Matheson's value is at his highest right now, not just from his play this season, but from the fact that this offseason, the LD free agent market is very thin. Apart from maybe Skjei and Gostisbehere (I'd argue Matheson is better than both), there's really not much for offensive dman on the market. Not only that, but it also looks like there will be a new buyer on the market...Utah. and a vet LD would be exactly what they'd be looking for. Matheson probably doesn't get the same value as Guhle, but if Hughes can trade Matheson to Utah for a forward (my eyes would be on Lawson Crouse, who's 3 1/2 years younger than Matheson, and a pick/prospect added to him, I'd target Maveric Lamoureux). I'd prefer that over moving Guhle.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Andy_Dick</b></div><div>Truthfully, they'd be better off going for Marco Rossi whom has a connection to DR. He's already in the trade rumours according to Michael Russo, beat reporter of the Wild, and said it's a high chance that Marco gets moved for more scoring/size.
Marco would be a cheaper price and would fit a need in the center of the ice instead of relying on Dach's health and Beck to make the immediate jump. The Wild need scoring so one of Mesar/Farrell could easily be included with a Dvorak so this would fit the same model as the Newhook trade as the Habs get their promise and the other team Avs/Wild have the more established player Ross Colton/Dvorak</div></div>
Rossi is definitely a prime candidate to be the next Dach/Newhook trade of this offseason. But for sure another Center or two would have to move out of MTL to do it (Dvorak probably being #1 on the list, but I think there will be a better market for someone like Evans. And Habs might want to keep some Left-handed Centers around like Dvorak, with Suzuki, Dach, even Beck all being righty's, although Rossi is a lefty...)
Not sure how much Rossi would cost... I hope it's not similar to Newhook, although I'm very happy with Newhook, looking back, a late 1st and early 2nd still feels rich.

We have tons of picks and young prospects to be able to trade for MB without having to trade Guhle

Yup couldn't have said it better myself!!!! Any cup winner would say that grit, heart, and physicality gets you through the playoffs. Skill gets you to the playoffs
I remember when everyone gloated about how Dubas robbed the Florida Panthers in the Denis Malgin for Mason Marchment deal. One is scoring NHL playoff goals right now and the other is playing pond hockey in a soft Swedish league. Also, I find it funny how Dubas thought it was wise to keep Kerfoot, Holl, Malgin, and Engvall around and let Hyman walk to the Oilers, what a massive mistake that was

- Matthews has evolved as a player under Treliving, he actually has the stones this time to defend himself and not laugh it off like how Kyle Dubas explained it to him
- JT was not the obvious signing, it was a bone headed move by Dubas and cost us at the expense of moving Kadri who later told Dubas to "kiss his a**" when he raised that cup above his head. There is a reason why the Islanders didn't bring him back (not captain material)
