Taking a closer look at his overall game reveals a very streaky scorer who has only (1) goal in his last 10GP ... and it came on the PP. He has 6 assists in the segment ... 3 at ES and 3 on the PP.
Monitor his impact at even strength. His battle. His vision to find open space. His catch and release directing pucks on net. He's a goal scorer who thrives on the PP, but the Habs could use more from him at ES.

Shooter. Goal scorer. Difference maker with the puck on his stick in scoring areas. Quick release. Shoots the puck hard and accurately. Difficult to defend with the way he shields pucks close to his body before directing them on net.
Good skater. Not a pure burner in open ice. Exceptionally dangerous on the PP working the back door flank.
Season cut short due to injury in (22/23). Still managed to score 26 goals in 46GP.
