Gylander was drafted in the 7th round - by Detroit - in 2019 - He's a big body in the net who's difficult to beat from range when he squares up with his large frame Leans butterfly - but at his best when limiting his overall movement in the crease and playing deeper in the paint 32GP in 23/24 season at Colgate - before signing with the Wings - 14-14-4 record - 2.93 GAA .901 save percentage Average in most skill categories overall - Lateral push - Crease composure and net awareness - Gloves - Playing the puck Depth organization signing - Potential #3 / Recall16 mars 202423 mars 2024

Holl is having a hard time finding a roll in Detroit He's been a healthy scratch - recently - for nine straight games. Polarizing player who's impact and detail ranges wildly at times. Doesn't produce much offense Big body. Hasn't been playing with enough physical push back / engagement. In his last five game segment he was only credited with 9 hits and 2 shot blocks. When he does dress, his TOI has been trending down - averaging between 13 - 17 minutes - deployed at even strength only. Signed through 25/26. AAV = 3.4M. Contract includes 10 team no trade list. 27 févr. 20242 mars 2024

Has only played five games since December 27th. Mixed results overall ... but last two games (Feb 17 / 25th) were both solid starts ... two wins ... one via shutout vs Calgary ... stopped 72 of 74 shots he faced Veteran back-up at this stage of his career Butterfly style. Mid-range athleticism. There are times he makes himself 'small' when fronting the shooter and dropping / leans forward or sits 'down' in the butterfly - exposes room over his shoulders. Still has enough game to steal some points for his team on occasion. Expiring contract. Pending UFA. 35 years old. Cap hit = $1.5M - Contract armed with 7 team no trade clause.27 févr. 20242 mars 2024

Veteran goalie who has hit the wall in recent segment of games. Dating back to starts between December 11th - 27th - he posted a GAA of 4.94 and save percentage of .851 - over five starts. Streaky back up. Good size. Butterfly style. Average quickness. Team looking to acquire Reimer is banking on his veteran experience and ability to adjust to new surroundings - while providing spot duty positive starts. The kind of goalie who is best when the group in front of him is tight and organized. 4 janv. 20247 janv. 2024

Debrincat scored 27G - 39A in 82GP for Ottawa last season. He was a (-31) In his first 25GP for the Wings he scored 13G-11A and was a (+7) He's on pace to easily eclipse his PPG from last year ... and more importantly (arguably) his three zone play / detail / effort off the puck has improved exponentially. Pure offense - averages around 18:00 TOI - ES 14:00 - PP 4:00 Aggressive getting pucks to the net. Dangerous shooter on the power-play. Recent play at the SHL level in Sweden playing for Rogle has showed continued growth in his overall game. He's above the play when his team doesn't have the puck. He takes his check all the way back to his crease. Off the rush he remains a threat off the edge who is willing to take pucks to the net. The majority of his TOI comes at even strength and the power play. Quick stick in traffic. Finds tips and rebounds. 2-way forward. Playing responsibly.3 nov. 202220 nov. 2022

Butterfly / Athletic Good feet. Moves well laterally. Reads the play and challenges shooter in high danger areas. Second stop compete is excellent. Rebound control generally reliable. At times he does get sitting too low in his butterfly / opening up space over his shoulders in process. Overall he's an athletic, competitive, mostly structured goalie with NHL upside.28 oct. 20227 nov. 2022

Emerging as a player who can be used in a variety of roles More of a shooter than distributor overall Works off the cycle and goes to the net looking for pucks. Displays excellent hand/eye coordination tipping pucks directed on goal from range. Ability to make plays off the rush. Has produced offense at every stop in his career. Added strength required for NHL game but trending positively overall.29 oct. 202231 oct. 2022

There is much to like about his game. He has good size with room to add more weight and strength. He can play quick, fast, and attack off the rush. He's also not shy about driving to the hard areas and battling for pucks around the crease. Offense is his element but he has shown he is capable of being deployed in all situations at the J20 level in Germany. Loads of potential but some unknowns based on the level he is playing. He is by far the most dynamic player at the J20 German level.8 oct. 202220 oct. 2022

A big body defender who struggled at the hardest time of the year in 21/22 His pace, execution, and overall detail fell off considerably after being traded to Florida from Montreal at the 21/22 trade deadline When he is at his best he plays north of 20:00 in all situations and brings a physical element. By the end of the season he looked tired and had a difficult time defending against the speed rush and in small areas along the wall in his zone. 2-Way 'D'7 mai 202212 juill. 2022

There were several scenarios in 21/2 that he was closer to being a 7th D option than a regular who can play key minutes in hard games. Lost his confidence handling the puck for stretches resulting in far too many turnovers in all areas of the ice Despite his stature he doesn't make up for his lack of detail and execution with an overly physical element. Might be best for a fresh start elsewhere. A 2-way D who will never bring a ton of offense21 févr. 202212 juill. 2022

Continues to produce consistent results offensively. His last three seasons have seen him score 60, 58, 57 points. In 21/22 he scored 11 of his 27 goals on the PP. Has a knack for finding open space. Quick, accurate release. A shooter more than a distributor with the man advantage. Not shy about going to the crease to find tips and rebounds. Skating has never been an element. He plays the game at his pace. Does not penalty kill. Grizzled veteran. A leader.2 mars 202212 juill. 2022

Averaged over 19:00 TOI in 21/22 and was used in all situations in both Winnipeg and NYR. A 'swiss army knife' that can be trusted with three zone detail and off the puck compete. Involved in the hard areas. Doesn't shy away from battling in the trenches. His ability to play up and down the lineup increases his value. Career best offensive results without his defensive detail suffering. Middle / Top 6 Center.2 mars 202212 juill. 2022

On the rise. When the intensity ramped up in playoffs he displayed the ability to take his game to another level. Over a 10 game playoff segment in April he produced 3g-3a-6pts and was deployed at ES and the PP. His ice time increased and ranged from 12:00 - 19:00 per game. A natural centreman who plays the wing at the SHL level in Sweden. He competes the full 200ft, has a very good stick, extends plays along the boards, goes to the crease looking for tips and rebounds and has vision to lead the PP B/O. AVG TOI (21:55) Being used in all situations. Primarily a 2-way/Transitional 'D' who's element is more on the offensive side of the ledger than the defensive. Equally comfortable distributing and shooting the puck. Skates well. Can attack off the rush and add an extra layer. Bounce back season. Better execution and results. Defending is average. Not the kind of player you want on the ice in key defensive scenarios in playoffs. He adds value in other scenarios. One more year on his contract.5 mars 20228 mars 2022

It's been a struggle this season. He is suffering through his worst year since 2015-2016 Point production is way down. Plus/Minus is trending negatively. His overall detail in his game has not been sound. Having said that, he has proven that he is capable of much better play than he has shown this year and the entire team has struggled (not just him) A veteran right shot 'D' who can be used in all situations and log upwards of 23:00 of ice time every night.
