I like these trades. All of the teams would get some pieces they need.

trocheck is a superior player to rask so Florida would not entertain that offer. hanifan is better than the leafs rookie borgman, but lhd is really not position of need for the leafs, despite all the cap friendly hanifan trade to leafs. marner if traded would be dealt for rhd or next year for a centre

Obviously Trocheck is superior to Rask. But not so much. That's why I offer Rask plus a middle draft pick. Maybe I would offer a 3rd round. But that's it. There's no huge role between those guys. Besides, Panthers need more good prospects and next draft will have many of them. So, I really think the trade would work for both teams.

As for Hanifin's trade. Well, it's simple to solve that problem. I'd trade Gardiner for a RHS d-man. I don't think he's indispensable to Leafs D. In fact, none of their d-men are indispensable. Even Rielly and Zaitsev. Rielly would be another option to trade for. Hanifin worths the shot, in my opinion. He has one of the highest upsides of the young d-men of the league.

So, I'll keep all of my trades. But thank you anyway for your feedback.

All the trades make sense for all the teams, but Brett Pesce is gonna be a best soon, so I'd much rather have Josh Morrisey on my team and give up a little bit more then to have Myers. Young left shot defencemen could replace Noah Hanifin's spot

The trade with the leafs needs to be Faulk and a 3rd for Marner and a 4th. Leafs need a RHD not a LHD. Also the rask for trochek deal is not close. Rask is a 2nd line C at best. Trochek is a quality top line C.

I know it. But it's hard to see Hurricanes trading their D leader, cause they have a pretty much you d-men roster. So Faulk is indispensable for them at this moment, in my opinion. That's why I suggest Leafs trade Marner for Hanifin and then trade Gardiner for a RHS d-man.

I didn't think about which player Leafs should trade Gardiner for yet.
