How late is that MTL 2nd? If it's late enough, would you do that for Nieto?
It's a fairly late pick, but I still wouldn't do it. I'm not looking to trade away any 2018 picks unless it's apart of a trade up at this point. Maybe a 2019 3rd and something small for him. He just doesn't produce enough for me to justify giving up a second round pick.

I was thinking more of a 6th than a 4th. I'll also have to check the free agent market to see if there's someone I can get without giving up any picks.

Okie; good luck with the search. And if you can't find anyone, can we meet halfway and do a 2018 5th? (Also, not to pump his tires, but the Nieto played on possibly one of the best pure defensive lines in the league this year.)
In response to your question regarding Zucc.
St. Louis would be interested in Frost+1st round pick.

St. Louis Management.

In addition, we would be interested in Granlund and Zucc for Hall and Frost and a pick
That’s a little too pricey for my tastes. Frost is one of the top prospects in all of hockey, so trading him plus an MVP front runner doesn’t make any sense for me. If the pick was lesser, I’d consider the Zucc deal.

The 1st rounder we had in mine, could be the latest of your bunch. Practically a 2nd rounder.

But it is still a first rounder. It’s like people calling an early second a first, but a late first is a second. Makes no sense. The pick is where the pick is.

We are interested in getting our 1st rounder back.
