Liam, it isn't a trade. He was placed on waivers. It'd be nice though if we put Scuds on waivers.

I agree. I don't see much risk to acquiring a RH defender for literally nothing. He can play on the bottom pairing. If he's better than Lovejoy awesome. If not it's still an upgrade. And if it doesn't work you can still likely trade him at the deadline out in the off season.

If he cant make the Edmonton blue line then he doesnt belong on the pens, especially with Glendenning still sitting in the press box.

I'm assuming you meant Clendening because Glendening plays for the Red Wings and I don't think he he spends much time in the press box.
