Decent proposal. I kind of want to see how Brown develops though. Apparently Chabot plays his off side which is good for the Sens system. In that the RD goes back and gets the puck. So trading Ceci may not be so bad, that is, if they are sure Chabot can stick. Their D would be depleted for opening night without Karlsson

Considering Sakic already turned down NYI when they offered Hamonic, a 1st and a top propect for Duchene, and wanted much more, I don't think this deal is enough. Ottawa would have to throw in at least a 2nd rounder in addition to this to get the ball rolling. Until Sakic comes back down to earth or it gets to the point where he absolutely HAS to trade Duchene, it's really not a move worth making.

I hear you there. It's hard to gauge Duchene's true value since he keeps torpedoing his own stock every time he speaks to a reporter :/
