So me and my AGM have talked and we are still far more interested in Brown then White, but we are willing to listen on a White+ for Nash deal. Also what if I added Puempel to the previous offer for Brown?
boltscharge17: Brown i'd rather do as part of a package for a bigger piece, or if you have a top 6 RW, you could add for Brown, depending on who it is. White is the same, though a little cheaper. Claesson would probably cost 2 2nds. And Condon i'd rather not move so probably 2 2nds and a lower level prospect. About the value i put on Brown and White, i see Brown as a future 1st liner, and White should be a future 2nd liner.
You're overpricing Condon and Claesson. I have Gourde who I'm not too keen on selling, but would be interested in swapping him for White+ or Brown straight up since I would be losing a current top 6 FWD and both are in the minors.
Max: I'd need more ... i'd rather not move Brown in a deal for Nash, but if i get i big + i likely would. Would you do something around White and Nash instead? Also, i will eventually make trades, it's just early in the season.
DavidBooth7: I'm not making any deals YET. I'm willing to discuss potential deals for a bit later in the season, but i don't want to make any yet. If i can get a deal discussed, then later it wouldn't take as long to make a deal happen if i'm interested later.

Depending on where some of my other dmen go, I could do this. Give me some time to think, and if I ultimately decide I like that price, I'll lift my embargo and accept it.
Alternatively, this is always an option if you want to restore our ties...
Freddie Claesson
Thomas Chabot
Jonas Brodin
i've already said i am not interested in Brodin ... i mean, maybe if by later next offseason i still haven't found a 1LD but for now, i'm not ready to do a plan B.
Would you trade potential for potential? Something like Brown/White for Kapanen + Martin?
Possibly White, but if i'm adding Martin i'd really rather not include White and just do it for a pick. I would consider it if i'm getting a 1st but otherwise i'd rather just do it for a pick.

The + on Nash for Brown would have to be pretty big.
If i do it for White you'd be adding because of age.

is Yanni Gourde really as good as you're saying he is?
Well for the white/nash deal you are getting a NHL player who can score for an alright prospect. Pluss you want me to add to Nash so that I can get an injured prospect?
For Brown the offer stands, Nash(top-6), Puempel(depth F), Dougherty(top d prospect) for Brown(top f prospect)
So correct if I'm wrong... you want Kapanen + 1st for one of White/Brown? Kapanen is an excellent player... easily slots in your Top 9, maybe even Top 6 if you play Smith on the 3rd line... you value Martin at a 4th and I value Kapanen at a high 1st... so what isn't fair about an offer of those 2 for 1 of White/Brown?

Well i don't think you're getting Brown in a Nash deal if that's as high as you're going. In a White deal, i'd consider it straight up.

I'm leaving my offer where it is.
then i'm not interested.

No, Martin and a 1st for White i would consider, but i'd much rather a pick for Martin.

Make an offer for jbow? We'll get a deal done, then ppl should get off your case...
I find it a bit unreasonable that the ask for Formenton is 2 2nds... as he was only drafted in the 2nd round this year prior... i do agree he is worth more than a 2nd but not double the value... would you consider Martin + a 3rd or a 2nd + a 6th?

that was a start? Maybe a 2nd and a 3rd?
I only value him slightly over a 2nd... this draft will be good. But paying an extra 3rd for a guy who was only drafted last year is rough though... highest I'd go to consider not an absolute fleece in your favour is a 2nd + a 5th... but you also wanted Martin so I'd like to slot him in the trade somewhere as well

It really depends on the other offers i get, and i'll probably be moving Claesson instead anyway. A 2nd and a 3rd for Formenton and a prospect?

2nd and Martin for Formenton and a 5th (brings my asking down on Martin to try and bridge the gap in a deal)
Filppula for Brassard as a base? Clears out space so you have money to resign Turris/Stone next year and gives me a center for an extra year while Patrick/Barzal grow.
