I personally would do this deal, I'd rather make it a 2nd round pick as opposed to a 1st but I understand where it's coming from considered RNH is signed for 4 years as opposed to Nash's 1.

However, the Rangers are going to need the cap space for RFA's and I don't think RNH would fit into that plan since a lot of the space that came from Nash coming off the books would go directly to the RFAs next offseason. I think it's a good proposal, just bad timing with Nash's contract expiring.

That's true but maybe NYR unload staal contract or buy him out to fit more space. I just figured since you guys need a centre more then wingers I'd send RNH I'd rather him
Play first line minutes then third line minutes. Don't get me wrong I love the nuge but RNH deserve better then third like centre minutes and Nash could light it up beside McDavid

if you guys retain 1-2 mill on RNH that's a done deal.. otherwise it's a prospect or a second (maybe even a third and a prospect) instead of that first round pick (obviously taking out the 2nd coming from edmonton).. i don't mind the thought because i think we can each help each other progress this year (nash helps with a very strong two way winger that can put up 20-30 goals and rangers get a center).. and lets be real edmonton is in a cap crunch with mcdavid and draist so they won't resign nash at the cap he would want

I don't see any point to EDM making this deal.

not sure i like trading nuge for 2 rentals, especially if one is vastly overpaid and the other is a bottom pair dman
