Description

Rumour of Duchene holding out for trade makes Colorado take less than they should. If untrue, I doubt they take this deal. I don't think Toronto is interested in just 2 years of Duchene, but a trade including Barrie would be very intriguing. I think it might require Nylander, but tried to make something fair for a rebuilding team. Prospects, elite winger for a year, and a few first round picks. Those top 9 and top 4 groups look scary good.

Doesn't want? that's where you're wrong they would be fine keeping everyone in that trade actually they could be a little bit worse with this deal

The base of this deal would be Dermot and a first round pick. You've just put too many pieces into the deal. I'm not sure Colorado has any interest in JVR and no one else has enough value to push this deal over the edge. On the other hand, why would Toronto want Duchene?

Leafs really don't need a forward and how is Duchene better than Bozak or JVR. Recently he isn't. And Barrie, the the Leafs PP is very good, Don't need Barrie at 5.5m at all.
