Montreal says no. Komarov is worse than Plekanec and Kadri is way worse than Pacioretty.

Yea, kadri is a good 2nd or 3rd line center, pacioretty is a 6 time 30 goal scorer, pacioretty worth more

Leafs say no... Komarov is way better than rusting Plekanec and Kadri and his contract I would take over Patch anyday... Kadri is a 2way corsi beast who put up 30 goals. We have enough and better goal scorers anyways

Yeah no cup in 50 years, and this is the first time in almost 20 that the leafs can consider themselves contenders... but ya, completely switch the roster up

Realistically though, I didn't look at the Vegas trade because almost all of them on here are huge packages involving the best players currently on Vegas and a bunch of 4th liners/ AHL players/ B-C level prospects. Vegas isn't a garbage bin where you can dump a bunch of useless players.
The Montreal trade is terrible for TML. 2 players nearing the end/past their prime for one of the best contracts in the league in Kadri, who matches up against the other teams first line every game and just puts them through hell. As a leafs fan, would you really want to be playing against a player like Kadri constantly? Would you want a player that annoying on your biggest rival? No. Needless to say, Kadri would also be #1c on MTL, he would get first line minutes and probably put up a ton of points which immediately makes it apparent that the leafs lost the trade.
