Why should we gut our depth for Backstrom? Wennberg will hopefully eventually get to his level. I'd rather trade that package for Tavares (if he 100% re-signs with us)

I was going to chime in that the above package of middle six goal scorers might get you a right handed defenseman named Carlson, but I see you've already got one...
