I’m with you, I just think Sweeney will add one more vet and give Merkulov and Lysell chances when there are injuries.

That may be an argument for not bringing in a veteran. Lysell needs to show well in preseason, but I assume the 2nd line RW is his for the taking.

Honestly, even though im not a huge fan of picking up tarasenko, if we could get him and bring swayman back I fully would. I could see the bruins signing olofsson, roslovic or nick cousins instead too

My guess is if Tarasenko is signing for that money, he’s going back to Florida. If it’s him, my guess is they’ve traded either Frederic or Geekie to free up salary .
