Presumably last ACGM post

Description
Duclair was a reasonably priced add who can slot pretty much on any wing in the top-9. Reilly contract was a steal. Good pieces of work from Lou so far this summer.

Isles are currently over the cap by approx $787k on a 23 man roster (assuming QO guys take exactly that - it could end up being a little more than $787k over)

I think Pageau is dealt in a hockey before the summer is over and that will finish off the team

Going to miss this website...hopefully PuckPedia's equivalent will have a similar ACGM mode

Staios said Pinto hasn't requested a trade, LeBrun implied it could be coming as negotiations might have hit a wall. Isles swapping Pinto for Pageau++ would be a home run.

Pageau cost a 1st just to dump so holmstrom for Pinto is obviously not happening. Isles have legitimately nothing (That theyd be willing to move) for Pinto.

Agree that trading Pageau in a hockey trade is the last move for this off-season other than signing Holmstrom. However, I don’t think that’d be in a Pinto trade tho I’d love him so much for this team

Do you really think a GM would come out and say "My player has demanded a trade". Now Pinto may have said it .....as probably do a lot of players but it's kinda meaningless.
Unless the player wants to retire, he is obligated to the rules of the NHL...which the player agreed to when he signed an NHL contract.

Pageau absolutely does not cost a 1st to dump lol - did you see the deals Center's signed for today? Pageau at $5x2 is a steal by comparison.

okay I need you to just take a moment to think here for a second.

if the Sens had the space to spend 5M on another centre

why would they be trading Pinto

you are correct that he would not cost a 1st to dump but he is not some asset you isles fans think he is. using free agency deals as your evidence is pretty stupid since most of them end up being bad contracts.

why would the sens waste $5 mil on pageau. They can sign pinto for that exact amount. He literally wants $5 mil. why would the sens choose to not sign him for $5mil and instead trade him for that package. They don't have $5mil in cap space to waste on an overpaid 3c.

I know its hard but please try to use some critical thinking skills sometimes josh. Even if the sens were looking to trade pinto they would be looking for a player with similar potential. Not a late 1st and 2 3rd liners.

Everyone with a brain knows at this point its a negotiation tactic for his contract. He`s not going anywhere and he did not ask out.
