That definitely favors Calgary. Maybe Kadri is a little bit better right now but probably not for long. I could see a deal around KK though

It's a tough one to gauge. I ran it by a coworker (Sens fan with no stake in the game) a couple weeks ago and we couldn't figure out what it would look like. On 1 hand Kadri is clearly a much better player right now. On the other he is like 10 years older and signed into his late 30's at 7M.

I doubt he gets moved at all but if I had to guess it would be Canes or Jets. They are the 2 teams that clearly want a top 6 center

Yeah I don't see that happening... That's a very risky move for Carolina. They could probably spend a fraction of the assets they get back for Necas to get Kadri, assuming he waives.

I think Carolina is a legit cup contender and a player like Kadri is the type of player that contenders need. I wonder if KK and Necas would work for Kadri. Sounds weird to have the Hurricanes add due to age difference between Necas and Kadri but get that contract off the books might make sense. Calgary now has the cap space.
