I don't think McMichael is worth that much, he's projecting to be a middle 6 player, so hes probably worth 2 2nds at most

While fine value-wise, I don't imagine EDM would want to trade down a full 20 picks. I could see them arranging a deal with Utah to trade down to 71 if they think they can get their guy there while also picking up either a late 3rd (COL or EDM's) or a 4th.

Calgary probably considers but ultimately decline. Yes they need centers but they most need a legitimate 1C, and McMichael can't be sent down anymore.

I disagree. He’s at least worth a 1st and a 3rd, and this 1st is #28 which is really late. So that should be accurate, but we don’t have to agree.

It might be fair value but Calgary simply doesn't have roster spots available this season in their top 9. They literally have 1 player that is waiver exempt for next season and that's Coronato (who really shouldn't be in the AHL)

I think the picks would fit the Flames' window better than McMichael.

I'm not opposed to moving McMichael but I would want it to be for an NHL player, not picks
