John Gibson won't cost anything to move because the Ducks have no incentive to move him. If they don't get a reasonable offer for him, Anaheim will just keep him. You should pay some attention to what your fellow Red Wings colleagues think he's worth -- at least three of them today have offered Berggren, Husso and your 2025 second for Gibson, so your evaluation is WAAAAY out of line for him.

Thinking that Anaheim would discount Zegras in order to trade what you see as a bad contract is as childishly clueless as thinking that Detroit would discount Nate Danielson in order to trade Ben Chiarot or Justin Holl. Viable young players -- especially top-6 forwards -- aren't used for cap dumps. Just look at the most recent trade Detroit made.
