Can these terrible rutger to mtl stop? The trades never address the jets needs and always quantity over quality. NJ could offer pick 10 as an example. Trades for mcgroaty should hurt in some way because he's a top prospect ready for the nhl now. Imagine what you'd want for Hutson, that's what the trade for mcgroaty should be thought of like.

God the endless Jets bs will be awful to filter through, they want nothing more than another fleece job. I hope he just picks a new sport at this point and WPG gets nothing at all.

You think anyone in the top10 is trading their pick for McG?
Good luck with that.
You have a prospect who has never played wanting out of your organisation. Nope, no one is going to give full value - which isn't even a top10 pick anyways.

Chevy is a great GM. But I think he'll have to settle for 80-90% of McG's worth.
mid- low 1st round pick, and 1 or 2 Blevel prospects

Someone is angry 😂. The reports literally say it's based on development not the team location. He was a 14th pick that has exploded a team would trade say pick 10 to speed up the process of development of what pick 10 would be. I know that you don't understand everything about the situation and mad about Michkov so I'll leave you be.

Just like they had to settle on Dubois? If you look at Chevy's trade history it's 90% positive even better when everyone doubts him or he's "backed into a corner" I'll trust the guy over what the the consensus on capfriendly.

I'm kicking around the idea of a Columbus AGCM based around 4OA for McGroarty. IMO Jets add, and potentially in the 2nd-round pick range, but what do you think a fair trade around that basis would look like? Just trying to poll some Jets fans before trying it.

Ok Howie. Don't know why you think I'm mad.
I'm not gonna bother trying, you can't even express a thought clearly.
Enjoy not having a team in 10 years when Wpg has to leave town for Kansa City

I'd say mcgroaty pick 37 and maybe a roster player like iafallo? I don't know if the jets would want to move up that high in the draft but would be cool. I feel like the jets would prefer someone like johnson or jiricek which I doubt are options so it may not be the best match but Columbus definitely has pieces the jets could like.

I think with Waddell saying the 4th OA pick is in play, a move like that is possible if the Jets are up for it. McGroarty would almost definitely sign in Columbus given the immediate opportunity with Laine heading out the door, and the apparent direct-from-Michigan pipeline.

Jiricek would be off the table since we don't have a replacement for him and our 1RD otherwise would be...Severson. I'm assuming Boqvist (the only other tradeable RD who's NHL-ready) isn't of much interest?

Johnson could be in play, but it's preferable to keep him to play with McGroarty for obvious reasons.

I think Iafallo, McGroarty, and 37OA for 4OA is close, assuming you'd value Rutger at ~10OA in this year's draft. We could work with that!
