Chychrun is not needed…especially at THAT extension price! Ottawa probably declines anyway. And getting rid of Carlo and Geekie is just SOOOOO bad!! This team is worse than the one that just made the second round!

If Chychrun become a Bruins he s the 2nd best D not far from 73 but McAvoy s not enough competent to drive the PP, Chychrun can and have a real solide slapshot...Chychrun had a bad year with the Sens by playing RD and get 41pts,with theBs the fuy get 50pts...if you think Lohrei can become as good as Chychrun i have some reserve....

My question for you after reading everything is what do you do with lohrei. It seems like you don't believe hes gonna pan out into a top pair dman and signing chychrun to a 4 year deal and having hampus lindholm locked up for 6 years tells me that lohrei will be a 3rd pairing guy until his RFA years are over. I feel like it's a waste to play him on the third pair. Do you trade him? or keep him on the third pair where he may not grow?

Lohrei need to grow a lot and you re not ready to see him 22 min on top line with 73, in 3 years he will be ready and probably time to trade Chychrun

3 years on the bottom pairing is just kinda rough though. 3 years with sheltered minutes and then thrown into the top line roll. I feel like it would be better to ease him up into it but if the bruins don't get chychrun he's going 0-100 anyway.

I would argue that Chychrun COULD be a top 4 depending on what metrics you use, but at 4.6mm AAV, why bother unless they plan to flip him? Lohrei showed he could handle top 4 minutes and will only get better next year. Wotherspoon also shows signs of improvement Ashe year progressed. Bruins should be after a young center or winger and picks from Ottawa. Depth LDs can be had through UFA.
