My biggest fear with this team is they think the are better then they are so the will lock one of the big free agents into a massive contract that they can't get rid of ... I don't mind Zadorov at 6x6 .... but doing Reinhart or Guentzle at 7 x 9 or 10 million I don't wanna see happen

I think they might .... i think they are gonna try to move alot of contracts if they can .... they might need money to reach the cap floor .... i can see a fire sale happening in Ottawa ... so they might eat a bad contract or 2 to get to the cap floor

There is no fire sale happening in Ottawa. No matter how badly other fan bases want Brady, he isn't being moved. If he isn't being moved, the team is going to build around him.

Any contract the Senators send out, they are going to acquire players to help them now. It'll be hockey trades, not asset building. The 2 exceptions are Joseph, because his value is at the highest it has ever been and the Senators may want to cash in on it, and Chychrun, mainly because he has an attractive contract that is expiring and the player knows there isn't room on the roster for him to get a raise with Chabot and Sanderson making $8M. Anyone else, it'll be money in - money out. They are not a team going to be taking other teams cap dumps.
