Utah gives up waaaaay too much to upgrade Durzi marginally with Chabot

not really, what some mid round picks they don't need with all their 2nd rounders and a goalie they will most likely trade anyways and Durzi who is a poor man's Chabot
Utah wants veterans that can help get them in the playoffs

I'm not sure Carolina has any use for Forsberg, he'd be their #3 if not their #4. I'm assuming Utah gets a goalie in free agency then to team with Ingram.

Not sure Durzi is a piece they want to trade, but at the same time he's probably not untouchable.

I don't think Andersson will be in the team when the season opens as he can't stay healthy and as the saying goes the best ability is availability

The org loves Durzi and Chabot hasn't looked good lately. It's just not going to move the needle in that building when Durzi is likely cheaper than Chabot. They aren't trying to win a cup next year.

No but making the playoffs would massively help
