I don't see LA having an interest in bringing back Alec Martinez.

Why can't we re-sign Viktor to the Connor Brown injury-exception contract ($775,000 cap hit, $3.225 million games-played bonus)?

I dont see any reporters talking about it, so I'm assuming its not a possibility?

Seeing reports now that Arvidsson will test free agency anyways, so I dont see him coming back now.

He would be a massive upgrade to Englund, would be a veteran presence on the backend, is still solid defensively (particularly with shot blocking), is coming off some injury plagued seasons that would limit his cost, is not going to expect a long term deal, has relationships on the team, and most importantly, can actually play the left side. I think he would be a great d-man for Clarke to play with as a rookie and I think he's a perfect fit for the Kings 3rd pair. I think Martinez is going to either return to LA or go home to Detroit.

It's a fair question, but if you get 1 good year out of him and he's LTIR in 2025/2026, does it matter? AEG is good for it, Worst case scenerio, the Kings are back to Englund as the 6th d-man, which for some reason they seem to be happy with anyway.
