Morrow not ready yet. Maybe season after this one

Sure, will take your word for it. Not canes mgmt and folks who actually follow it closely, or even myself who follows it closely and has actually watched a ton of his college games and the nhl games he did get into.

RBA and Tulsky should call you to see how they should build their team.

Signed him to a 3 year contract. 3 X 4M. 20 percent of 4M is only 800,000 which is most definitely doable for Anaheim and they’re getting an offensive minded young right shot d man and a few late draft picks.

There’s no way that is legal

And no we aren’t using a retention slot for you for that long

I understand that. I dont see the Leafs paying it. And as I said, teams only get 2 retention spots. Locking one up for 3 years is not a good idea from ANA perspective.

I think it definitely works. For what they’re getting in return it does. Anaheim isn’t going to be good for a long time to come .

A clown is someone who thinks Timmins has any value at all.

Who’s your 3rd pairing right now? That’s all I need to know.

Say whatever you want, but CHI isn't doing that. Go find a cap strapped team that needs affordable depth if you want positive value for Timmins. Otherwise, if CHI has any interest in him, they'll just wait for him to hit waivers.

They have a few year yet to go. I agree. Which follows what I am saying. If you lock up a retention spot for multiple years, you cant make that move again.
If you use your retention slots only on guys on the last year of their deals, you get to make a new deal every year. I think they would rather make 3 separate trades, and get triple the value from that spot. Than 1 trade and now have it locked up for 3 years.

Hit waivers? Buddy he’s signed next season. Which team do you manage? All you guys commenting like you know anything about what the blackhawks GM wants. Who’s your 3rd D pairing btw?

All this coming from the guy trying to tell Hawks' fans what their team needs/wants.

Since you don't seem to understand it, even though Timmins is signed next year, he can be put on waivers. If your GM is competent at all, he'll bring in an upgrade and put Timmins on waivers and send him to the AHL.

To answer your question though, it'll likely be Crevier and before you ask, yes I'd rather have him over Timmins any day of the week.

Yeah... He is signed next season... And he is no longer waiver exempt... Buddy. We know exactly what KD wants because he is clear about what he is trying to build and what his motivations are going into next season. He isn't looking for scratched and dented reclamation projects that will more than likely lead to nothing. He has clearly stated he is trying to avoid a repeat of last season where we had to ice mostly AHL level talent because of the mountain of injuries we had for half the season. So, tell me why KD would pay anything at all for an injury prone bust who is likely going to hit waivers before the season starts?

It seems like you’re a fan of Timmins. You sure know a lot about a guy that’s “garbage”. I made a team that’s all I did. I made fair trades. Chicago needs a 3rd pairing guy that can still play. Nobody knows Timmins potential because he’s been injury prone. He was also drafted 32nd overall which means that he has potential to be an average NHL defenceman.

A fair trade is Timmins for FC and even then Chicago declines. Timmins will be out of the league after his contract is up because nobody wants a f**king AHL tweener 3rd pairing guy that cant stay healthy. If hes got so much potential then the Leafs should keep him. Cost effective players are what they need with all the wasted cash in their forward group.

Another thing.....nobody gives a f**k about where he was drafted 7 years ago. It doesnt f**king matter anymore.

You Leafs fans need to get one thing through your heads. These bums you keep trying to pawn off in every single ACGM dont have the value you think they do. Nobody wants your garbage. Nobody is paying for your garbage. Nobody wants your garbage for free.
