I think people on this website and GMS views contracts in different ways, like we see a bad contract, and instantly on this site we start to trade it with like 3 firsts attached to it. GMs for the most part, are just simply not willing to do that.

On the other hand, some general managers are willing to take a shot at someone:
- PLD - obviously has some upside, clearly didn't fit in LA, there are 32 teams in this league, 1 is bound to want to take a shot at him who is desperately trying to make their team competitive again (WSH)
- Goodrow - SJS is going to have a really hard time signing UFAs as we are clearly in the midst of arguably our biggest rebuild in franchise history. We are in desperate need of Veteran presence with Couture likely done, and all of our other veterans being traded away. Goodrow is obviously not an elite player, but he will be OK as our 3c for a couple years while we tear down and build back up.
