You have obviously not watched Lizotte play lol one of the most physical players on our team. He plays like twice his size. One of the best 4th line centers in the league.

I mean Talbot had a **** season at Ottawa behind crap defense, and then posted solid/great numbers for us last season. We are top 3 at most defensive metrics, far better at protecting goalies than Washington.

Either way, at 5'7 no one is giving up a 4th for him. Hell you are dumping him on "any team" for a 4th.... I mean that kind of says enough doesn't it?

We arent dumping him? He's a RFA that will probably cost too much for us because like I said, he's a good 4C for any team that has extra cap space who can afford him. We have enough young players that need NHL minutes so for cap saving reasons, we'll try them instead. If we had cap space to say "here, take 2M+" without blinking an eye, we'd probably do it.

A. he's not getting 2 mil, and B. you can come up with every excuse under the sun.... you are dumping him.
