I have a tough time working the Sens deal out tbh. it’s obviously selling real low on Norris, and I do have hope that he could still be effective and worth like 80% of his contract if used right, and obviously if he stays healthy. but the idea of clearing out that much cap space without losing any major assets or really important players to the Sens is obviously an attractive idea

We'd need a new top-6 LW in FA, but that would likely be cheaper than Norris anyway, plus Acciari could be a good 4th RW (albeit overpaid). Very tempting indeed.

Love Norris but man if we got rid of him and Korpi in the same deal we'd have a lot of flexibility in this free agency. Sign DeBrusk or something and you'd still have 2-2.5M$ savings from Norris.

Would really rather a different trade than the nj one I just think we need a better partner for tanger. Love all the other moves though even with korpisalo contract honestly would try to flip him and if not just bury him in ahl for blomqvist
