id trade him for dobson 1 for 1 to be honest, top 5-7 right winger in the league for a top 7-10 D man in the league. yes please. plus you get cap space for free agency. thats the most realistic option imo. but lou probably dosent want any part in trading dobson which is completely understandable

That could be very true, but i dont see treliving trading for anybody on that islander team except for dobson, so if there are rumours id assume that it would be surrounding dobson? if it is surrounding pulock i will be very upset unless there is like 3 first round picks involved lol. Islanders have 0 prospects so they wouldnt want to give up first round picks anyways. They have no one else on that roster to add to pulock except pageau or palmeri and even then that is not enough. It must be dobson or nothing imo. and id be okay with one for one but if we can get palmeri in our bottom 6 and as a PKer that would be huge.

i havent seen any roumors about dobson being moved, i think the islanders would be a bit silly to trade him but i think its a fair 1 for 1 star for star trade, its one of the only 1 for 1s id do for marner

Ferraro returns a 1st+ when pigs fly. Dude is a top 4 LHD on a terrible team; at best 2nd pairing, more likely 3rd on a competitive team. LHD is the most plentiful position in the league, can be easily addressed in FA and is not an area of need for the Leafs. 0% on likelihood scale
