BUF doesn't want Deslauriers back; Hathaway is worry a 3rd/4th rounder at best; and Peterson spurned BUF after they drafted him, they surely don't want him with his albatross of a contract now. On the other side BUF needs RHD, trade one of the few they have without a huge upgrade? Ostlund's value varies by org, but it's s lot more than this.

That deal is horrific for Buffalo. Why would they want to pay even a second round pick for 2 4th liners? Then, of course, there’s the albatross contract that Philadelphia would be thrilled to be out of, and you want to add a top prospect going to Philadelphia in the deal? This is complete nonsense.

There isn't a single asset on the Flyers side of the deal worth any of the three assets you want from Buffalo.
