It's hardly stacking up on the defence if Rifai is the 7th Dman. I really don't see what's in for Vegas either. Roy and Theodore and almost 4m in cap for one Marner.

Leafs aren’t trading Marner for a defenceman who’s on an expiring contract as well, a 3rd liner and a 3rd round pick. Swap Roy with barbashev or William karlson and they do it.
