I don't think the Hawks accept without a bit of a sweetener. There's upside for the Hawks, but 6x$4.8 for a player with a partial no move clause kicking in next season and only one season of more than 0.5 PPG brings plenty of downside too.

I don’t see what’s wrong with the contracts? Besides about 3 years too many for Teuvo, and probably a bit much for an unproven Perfetti, it’s pretty reasonable. But the trades are bad, first one for the jets, last 3 for the canes.
