John Gibson isn’t waiving for Canada man

If we're going to spend $6.5 million on a free agent defenseman, he ought to be a RhD, not a LhD. Skjei is only attractive because you forgot to re-sign RFA Jackson LaCombe, who has a bright future.

Similarly, we don't need a free-agent LW like DuClair. That's why GM Pat Verbeek has announced that two of his main objectives this off-season are to acquire a right-shot forward and a right-side defenseman.

RFA Gus Lindstrom played well for us this year. I think that we'll re-sign him, too.

If we trade John Gibson anywhere, it will probably only be to a team in the Metropolitan Division.

I look for Trevor Zegras to be moved to the wing this season.
