Do not need the aging wonder which is Kronwall, Marazek doesn't blow me away and Condon proved last year he is more then capable of handling himself in the net over an extended period of time. While making this trade you are giving a young defence in cleason who has proved that he can play at the nhl level and in my humble opinion on of the sens future stars in Chaplik who is going to be a monster. Hes extremely talented and is one of the sens strongest prospects. None of what you offered makes sense. Sorry but as a sens fan I wouldnt want that.

*Trust the system* I am also a Sens fan. I'm just thinking about the future. Howard, I have a feeling will stay in Detroit and Mrazek will move to Ottawa again like in junior. Problem is that Detroit needs a bit of space, hence the Kronwall move. He can play beside Karlsson giving him a backup and a Methot like presence. If I were to redo it, I'd take out Chlapik and a pick just based off of what he can be. But, with the amount of depth at centre for the Sens, he won't be able to play for a while.

Ouf, is he that bad?

He's not what he once was. He's still got it in his mind, but not in his body. His knees are totally shot, and I think we'll be lucky to see him play 50 games this season (he went from 80 in '14-15 to 64 to 57 last year). Surgery is inevitable, but he's doing his best to tough it out. That said, he's much slower than he was before, and not quite the punishing checker we once knew.

I like it. It's either Englund or Claesson in my mind. I would prefer to keep both in exchange for Harpur but his performance in the playoffs kind of lowered his value.
