this trade is clearly favouring the Sens. getting the better player and the pick. sure cap wise you are losing money but the positives outweigh the retention.

as for the pens I would never give up the second round pick to get Joseph who isn't good. just trade eller for picks and let O'Connor play that role. he is much better than Joseph.

Saying Joseph isn’t good is hilarious. He’s a very good player who can play anywhere in the middle 6 and kill penalties as well as being speedy.

anyway didn't mean he is an AHLer but nevertheless I'd never give up a pick n44 to get him. and you wouldn't as well... plus losing a very useful player with only one year on his deal that can be dealt at the deadline if we aren't fighting for a playoff spot.
