With regards to Lysell vs. Merkulov, I take Lysell’s talent every day of the week and believe he might be better suited growing at the NHL level where the best players in the world hold him accountable as opposed to NHL journeyman.

I know. He was a solid add as a college UDFA and has more talent than some suggest because he wasn’t drafted. That said, I believe Lysell has a lot more talent.
