Coming from a bruins fan, from what I read on here devils fans struggle to justify getting ullmark for their 10th overall pick so this deal is almost an instant no for most people, I would probably say no if im the devils GM as well. Siegenthaler is such an underrated defenseman, nolan foote i think is dealing with the allegations right now so he would not fit well with the culture the bruins are trying to build, also hes likely to never play hockey again and boqvist just isnt enough to give up along with ullmark to get the first and siegenthaler. The devils are desperate for a goalie so i could see boqvist and ullmark for the pick, maybe, but I think ultimately the bruins would have to give up something closer to ullmark and lysell to get that pick, knowing who can go at that draft position.

Take out Siegenthaler, Clarke and Foote...and Devils still say no.

Besides, Ullmark doesn't want to go to NJ.

Lysell just bunches in with Clarke and Holtz. 3 guys for 1 spot, maybe 2. I don’t think he moves the needle for NJD.

I don't know why everyone is undervaluing Ullmark. Goalies are expensive rn cause everyone needs one (even with one year left). Siegs is on one of the best contracts on the team and I would think he is somewhat close to untouchable. I think the 10th would definitely be needed to make a deal like this, however, I just don't think the bruins and devs match as trade partners. Bruins and devils are trying to compete and the devs probably won't give up a roster player unless it's holtz or mercer (neither of which are needed by the Bs and send the value of the trade way up on the devs end). However, if a trade were to happen my guess would be something like the 10th and a roster player like Bahl since the Bs need a LHD (Grzelyk likely hitting free agency).
