There's no way in hell the Kraken give up that much. Take out the 1st and maybe. And Necas isn't worth anything close to the 8OA alone.

Only way Francis does this is if he feels more loyalty, still, to the Canes franchise than to the one he's currently employed at. And would no longer be if he made this deal.

Necas is worth the 8OA alone, but it doesn't make sense for Seattle to give that up. This trade doesn't work for Carolina bcoz the cap from Larsson and Tanev push away other FAs so they don't really gain anything from them. I'd probably pivot to Necas for 2025 1st + 2024 2nd+

Who gives a top 10 pick for a soft 2nd line forward? No, Necas is not worth the 8, not even close. If you'd trade Berkly Catton, Tij Iginla, Anton Silayev, Zeev Buium, Zayne Parekh, or Sam Dickinson, for Necas straight up, you have issues.
