Trading Laughton for a 1st is like a cardinal sin on this site even though a GM has offered a 1st for him for 3 straight years lol. That said not sure the Rangers can really use him

I am on board with your comments and those of Rags21. Everybody wants a 2024 NYR 1st. Are you crazy? Drury has already done a bang-up job of eliminated NYR 2nd round picks in 24, 25, and 26. Ditto for 3rd rounders in 24 and 25. If Chris attempts to forfeit 1st rounders, someone should tackle him. If Drury can move some of the "dead wood," he should be acquiring early round draft picks!

You’re in the window bud. Pick 30 not gonna do you any good.

If Danny gets TK for that price I can live with it but I am on the side of trading him. That 1 less year and under 9mil makes it a little more palatable though. I think these negotiations will really show how good of GM Danny is. We can’t handle any more albatross contracts.
