the canes would never go for just zacha and a few mid picks. Would def be ullmark in the deal + a few mid picks for necas. trading lauko and boqvist doesnt make much sense for the bruins if there not getting and ok return. They both played well esp boqvist and neither will ask for much. Bert coming back would be interesting but dillon at 4.8 is a joke. he wont sniff over 3 even to a desperate team.

Canes like the idea of Zacha replacing Necas as similar production at half the price! It’s a real player for player move. Brandon Dillion was + 40 this year bud. There isn’t a ton of good D UFA’s. 4.8 is jacked up because 1 year deal. I’ll take him for one year then let him walk to sign Draistil or someone in 2025. Lauko isn’t it. Agreed Boqvist was good but Duhaime is needed to get by the panthers. BOS needs to make a roster to beat FLA.

I’d rather have Zacha at his salary and pick up a player with the delta, I’m not super excited about paying Necas 7.2M to not play defense and hope his offense makes up for it,

The Jackets are trying to trim and/or rearrange wingers, not add more, so I doubt that gets accepted.

4th line wingers do not get 6 year deals for a damn good reason
