I don't see why everyone's so set on getting rid of Suter.

I'd way rather keep Suter and run 1 less scratch. Forward struggling in the top 6? Move up Suter. Centre goes down, you've got Suter. You want Hoglander feasting on 4th lines? Move up Suter. He's not an elite winger but he's just some glue that you can fix a lot of issues with

He is not the guy I want centering that 3rd line though. So Id rather that 1.6m be available to help address that. Suter is a dime a dozen kind of guy. Versatile, sure but that money can be spent better.

Yeah I'd rather have Blueger but if a C goes down do you want Alan between Garland and Joshua eating bigger minutes? Teravainen hasn't played a full season since 2020 and Duclair has never played a full year, if either of them go down I'd rather have Suter step up then say Di Giuseppe. I feel like it's way better to run one less scratch then have no real options in the case of injury
