Too much going on. Konecny and a couple picks is likely a wiser plan than all this. Getting two late 1sts and a top 6 winger for Marner is probably enough. Laughton, Frost and Timmins, Liljegren and Robertson should just be taken out of the equation

I agree, but I think the idea is that it helps the Flyers become cap compliant. They move out 5.1M AAV between Frost and Laughton while only taking on 3.8M AAV for Robertson, Timmins, and Liljegren, all of which could legitimately slot into starting lineup.

Frost doesn't intrigue me and Laughton is just a 30 point bottom 6 forward over 30. I would much rather keep Liljegren, Timmins and Robertson.
