Just a quick comparison. When Kevin Fiala was grabbed by the Kings from the Wild it cost them a late 1st and Brock Faber (obviously not knowing what Faber has turned into) and Faber at the time was the #3 RHD prospect for the Kings behind Spence and newly drafted Brandt Clarke. Fiala at the time of being traded was coming off a 85 point season and Necas is coming off a 53 point season, similarly to MIN and Fiala the Hurrican cant afford to resign Necas which lowers his trade value and it also being public knowledge that he wants out of CAR lowers his value even more.
In my opinion you get no where near this kind of value for him, I'm not saying he isn't worth it but there are some de-valuing hurtles for the Hurrican here.
