No, Leafs end up way overpaying here.
Larsson and Wright for Marner is an OK starting point.
But even thats a little low considering Wright hasn't even shown anything at the NHL level yet and TO needs guys to help them today. Not in a few years.
Leafs would have no interest in giving up Minten. And certainly not for old overpaid Gourde who is about to be a UFA.
Larsson and Wright for Marner is the starting point. Or Larsson and McCann.
Leafs should be able to negotiate a second round pick on top of that as well. For just Marner. If Seattle wants Liljegren as well. Maybe 2 picks.
No need for TO to put any picks or Minten into a trade like this at all.

yeah, no value for the leafs, seattle players that toronto would want are guys like McCann or even Dunn (who would be a lot harder to get but yeah)

Don't see the Leafs any better next season with the trade.
But why would Marner waive to Seattle in his contract season? He doesn't.
