Trouba and Zib and Boston, Say hell No.

I actually really like Zibanejad, but I'd only trade mcavoy for a cup caliber center, which Zib isn't. If the b's get trouba the rangers would have to take Frederic back lol, don't want any baseball shenanigans and practice

I'm not sure what the deal would be involving Zibenijad for McAvoy, but if you take out Trouba the deal is much closer to a realistic value. A 2 year 8m dollar cap dump is too much to take on for a team that thinks they will be in the playoffs.

Anyway, Boston doesn't do this because it is robbing Peter to pay Paul. 1Cs are hard to come by, but 1RDs are as well. They'd just be pushing the pain to another part of the roster. I'm not sure why the Rangers would want to do this either, as they already have Fox, and their center depth would be totally shot.

No way Boston would take this and even if they were interested (which they wouldn't be), good luck getting any of these 3 to waive their NMCs, and even if they all agreed (which they wouldn't), good luck getting Boston to be able to afford this cap hit (which they wouldn't).
