Rebuilding (Trading even Tavares)

Description
To be the 5th force in Metro division and having no chance to win any Cup for at least the next 5 seasons and almost no chance to reach playoffs again next season. This is why I think Islanders should rebuild now (it seems like they always rebuilding, cause they never have a chance to win cups year after year).

I trade all the rental pkayers, including Tavares, cause I think he want to be part of a contender and have a chance to win a cup on his prime. Maybe Habs is not the best option, but at least they have a chance to win in the next 5 years, if they do the right moves in this time. Any team who have Price will always have a chance.

The strategy here is clearly to get as many picks as possible and some good prospects and young players.

PS: The trades of Lee, Bailey, Seidenberg, Hickey and Chimera are Deadline ones.

    You're probably right about de Haan. But I'm not sure about Hickey. I think at most a 2nd for him, cause he's a rental and probably will be a 3rd pair in a contender. But I'll keep with a 3rd.

    The trades seems good an can lead to a quick rebuild i think maybe de haan deserves just a tad more for is service.
    Also the montreal trade i think only happens if he exrend long term with them. Like no picks or both first pick. But i like the package

    You're right about Tavares trade. He'd have to guarantee a extension of his contract with Canadiens, otherwise I don't think they will make this oroposal.

    As for de Haan trade...maybe add one decent prospect. But it's something like that.
