Not a chance Marner gets traded for a mid defencemen and a backup goalie. That’s just very very delusional. Dewar and Robertson are both gonna want at least 1.1 mill. Steep overpay for Domi. He’s either gotta be around 4-4.5 or the leafs let him walk. Edmundson is let him walk even though I like him for depth. He’s going to want too much money. The leafs need to find a way to sign one of the big name right handed d men on the free agency this year. Pulock is no where close to enough. If you’re trading Marner he’s either gotta go for a stud starting goalie ( which I prefer) or a stud right shot d man

As big a fan I am of Marner, I'm not sure he has great trade value given that he has one year left and will command 12 mill per year. Everyone knows he disappears in the playoffs since that's all the media wants to talk about. Pulock is a solid right shot d who signed to be islanders top pair until dobson decided to take over. Varlamov is high performing goalie who gives you 30 games alongside Holl who is touted to be our 'goalie of the future'. I'm not sure it's a bad return. I certainly haven't seen a better offer for marner.

It was recently reported that domi was looking for 5-6 mill over 6 years so not sure your evaluation will play out.

Once again,......Isles do not want Marner and his 12M price tag.. Toronto fans....We are NOT A MATCH.
