Domi is really bad at center.

He provides some offense, but with Thompson and cozens not being awesome defensively, that 3c spot is begging for a two-way/defensive center. To me, domi is a poor choice for those reasons.

Which is going to be really hard to find.

Sturm, bleuger, faksa, kampf, dowd- wont get much offense, but having somebody take d zone starts and help on the pk (Thompson was pretty good on the pk, but I believe he got hurt twice doing it, somebody else can be on pk1).

And of course, if you wanted to get crazy, you could throw a hefty contract at lindholm and see if he bites (I doubt he would, but as he's a ufa it's just money). And naturally a guy like lindholm would be a 3c in name only.

I'd probably resign myself to the cheap route, lindholm is gonna get offers from a half dozen teams. The Sabres have committed large contracts to Thompson and cozens, I don't wanna hear about how we really need our 3c to produce offense for us.
