Canes don't touch that. Vancouver needs to add a fair bit if they want Carolina to take Miky. Kotkaniemi will bounce back to being a great defensive 40 point C. Miky's injury history is extensive and he's 29, he won't improve. Podkolzin added might get Carolina to do this, but Necas > Hronek, KK > Miky, and the upgrade to Hoglander from Heimo isn't worth it

Hronek has higher value then Necas being a RIght handed two way D. Necas has all but asked out and is a failed centre turned into wing.
Mikheyev and Kotka could be closer in value then you think due to less term on Mikheyev. If Car is considering buying JK out then losing those extra years brings value. JK still has higher value but not astronomically.
Hoglander is a guy who Car has wanted before and scored 20 without any PP time. Good young player. Great season, went silent in playoffs.
Honka / Morrow both very good prospects but Car would be getting value winger to replace all their UFA’s leaving on a good contract.

I know right? Crazy Vancouver fans overvaluing their players. No one would trade a 50 point centre for a 50 point defenseman or a buyout candidate for a top-6 winger at league minimum.
